Michael Morgenfruh brings over 13 years’ experience in residential and commercial real estate to Sotheby’s International Realty. Previously, Michael served as a city government liaison within the site development team of a top-tier Manhattan-based architecture firm. Through servicing high-profile accounts, Michael gained extensive knowledge of the inner workings of the Department of Buildings, Department of City Planning and other regulatory city agencies. Such a detail-oriented skill-set makes Michael an important partner in any residential transaction.
Michael has extensive experience in sales, investments, and property management and is a long-time resident of Manhattan, a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, and a member of CIVITAS, a union of citizens dedicated to improving neighborhood quality of life in the Upper East Side and East Harlem.
A northern New Jersey native, Michael and his husband reside in upper Manhattan and also maintain a weekend home in the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York.
